The School Day

Nursery and reception aged pupils in our Rainbow 1 class

For the first term pupils attend for 5 mornings a week arriving at school at 9.00 a.m. and leaving at 11.45 a.m. Pupils are greeted by their class staff and taken to the classroom.

In the spring and summer terms they attend for 4 full days (Mondays – Thursdays, 9.00 a.m. – 2.45 p.m.) and on Friday mornings, 9.00 a.m. – 11.45 a.m.

Pupils in Rainbow 2, Sapphire, Ruby, Coral and Amethyst classes (Russet at Suffolks)

School starts at 9.00 a.m. each day, and finishes at 2.45 p.m.

Pupils have a mid-morning break when they have a snack and drink, and a 15 minute playtime.

Lunch is served in two sittings in our dining hall between 12 noon and 1.30 p.m., and the pupils also have time to play.

For children travelling by school bus provided by the Local Authority school starts at 9.00 a.m. each day, and finishes at 2.45 p.m.

For children travelling to and from school with their parents starts at 9.15 a.m. each day, and finishes at 3.00p.m.

Pupils have a mid-morning break when they have a snack and drink, and a 15 minute playtime.

Lunch is served in two sittings in our dining hall between 12 noon and 1.30 p.m., and the pupils also have time to play.
